Every time we put him in the bath he laughs and smiles and plays. I love this boy!

Kyler's First Christmas 09

So we woke up early on Christmas Day! Kyler was so grumpy! He is usually so good in the mornings but not this morning. We would open a gift, he'd look at it and start arching his back and cry...guess he didn't like anything Santa brought. He was super spoiled on Christmas! We headed to my dad's first. We got a new Blue Ray player and Kyler got a learn and groove table. Then we headed down to Brody's parents for breakfast. We got another blue ray player, we were excited to get two. Dallas and Nicole got all the boys Utes football helmets. Brody absolutely loved his. He's wore it a few times. Kyler got tons of clothes and books and movies, Grandma and Grandpa Gould got him a Tigger that bounces around, he loves watching it. After breakfast we headed over to my sisters for lunch and games. Grandpa Justin bought him his pillow buddy, it has a blanket inside the pillow. Ashley and Jordan got him lots of books. I had a lot of fun over there. It was nice for the day to end, especially when your baby is being so grumpy. We are so grateful to all our friends and family who helped us out this past year. We couldn't ever say in words how much you guys mean to us. Love you all

Kylers Baptism

Kyler's Baptism was on Dec. 06, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church. It was a nice but cold day. Patrick and Cami Kearns were officially named Godparents for Kyler. Kyler was pretty good only fussed when Pastor Rick took him and put cold water on his head. All our friends and family came out and supported him. My only one complaint is there were way too many cameras doing family/friend pictures. Not one picture, of ours anyway, has everyone looking in the same direction. I'm sure there is one on someones camera. Thank You to everyone who came out. I know it was a little different for most of you but thank you for coming. We love you all.

Thanksgiving

So Thanksgiving morning did not start well. Brody took Sage hunting which left Kenzie here and mad! She woke up Kyler! So I got him to go back to sleep so I could get ready. I waited until we were almost ready to go to get him dressed. I picked him up to put him in his car seat and he pooped all up his Thanksgiving shirt, hair, pants, legs and socks. Yes my baby was covered head to toe in poop! I rushed upstairs got him cleaned up and in some boring outfit. We had breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa Macfarlane's. It was yummy. The pumpkin pancakes were awesome. We came home and I scrubbed the shirt and threw it in the laundry. It didn't have time to dry before we had to go to Grandma Millers, so I dried it with the car heater :) It worked and he got to wear his shirt after all. Thanks for all the yummy food. And thank you to my husband. You may make me mad and frustrate me but I'm thankful to have you and Kyler in my life. Happy Thanksgiving

Rice cereal, 11/19/2009

So we got the ok to start Kyler on rice cereal. First I mixed it with formula, oh man did that smell bad. He made a face like it was nasty. So i dumped that and mixed it with just water. It smelled better but he still wasn't having it. So i thought maybe it's just the spoon. I put the cereal in a syringe and gave it to him that way.....nope still made a face. It was funny and an experience for all of us.
